Anime Boston was ghetto-cosplay-con-’97 and I literally pinned myself into both costumes and forgot parts of one.  But it was so much fun.  So so so much fun.

Breaking with tradition, Kelly and I wore no Sailor Moon costumes at all to Anime Boston – it was so weird, but OH SO FUN.  Instead, we had some Street Fighter fun on Friday (which on my part was really laughably bad, but Kelly was a sexy R. Mika) and on Saturday we ran around as Wonder Woman and Black Canary (Justice League Unlimited is hilarious – and seriously I think my thighs may be getting large enough to have their own gravitational pull).  It is amazing how the demographic of people taking your picture changes when you don’t have pants on.

So, yeah, basically everyone that I saw at this convention – I pretty much love you.  You guys are the best friends ever and I had so much fun and it was all your fault.

The highlight of my AB was that I finally got to meet Sean and he is SO AWESOME.  I realize that I’ve already used the word awesome too many times in this post, but there are not words to explain how much fun this all was and how super cool Sean is – so I just keep falling back on the word awesome.  Really, you should go check out his Deviant Art account here.
Possibly to keep me from running off with his entire bag full of sketchbooks he gave me this so-pretty so-sparkly picture of Myu Fighter and Moon and I pretty much died of moonie fangirly-ness.

The majority of photos were just too special to upload here, but here are a few…

Apparently Kelly and I kept getting people’s characters wrong… we kept insisting that the guy in the second picture was from Halo but he was very put out.  We also insisted that someone from Devil May Cry was actually Mal from Firefly… who knows how many other times it happened.  First picture is Kelly, Sean, and me.  Please immediately forget what we look like out of costume.
