Allow me to explain.
First, I think it's pretty lame when people do 'original' costumes for a character. I think it's very very silly and laughable. That being said, these weren't based off of any artwork so they're more or less those lame 'original' costumes. Yes, the Usagi dress looks a bit like her wedding dress in that it's big, white, and has poofy sleeves. Yes, Seiya looks like she just wandered off the set of a Takarazuka showing of Rose of Versailles... but no.
Second, yes, these photos are badly photoshopped.

I can't really EXPLAIN why I did two things ('original' costume, bad photoshop) that I generally dislike. A lot. It makes no sense, but then again if you told me seven years ago that I would be dressing up as Sailor Moon and liking it I would have laughed in your face.
